I cannot easily put into words just how brilliant Marta is and how much she has done for me. I have been training with Marta for almost a year and I hope she will continue to train with me for many more to come!
Before training with Marta, I hadn’t exercised properly in months. I had put on so much weight after coming out of a long-term relationship. I felt very low and even just getting out of bed to do simple daily tasks was so much effort. I had absolutely no energy or goals, and this for me was a long way away from my usual active and enthusiastic self. I really thought I had lost my old self forever.
However, making the decision to get a personal trainer (especially Marta) has turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made! Within the first few months I had easily lost over a stone, dropped almost two dress sizes and felt so much stronger and energised. Training with Marta has not only given me my confidence back, but she has truly changed my life. She is motivating, supportive and most importantly a lot of fun! She is absolutely everything you want in someone who puts you through your paces to achieve great results. I will never forget how many times I wished to give up on the last few reps but she taught me that these count the most and that nothing is impossible!
Marta has also spent so much time and care going through different elements of nutrition and what muscle groups I was exercising, ensuring my training was a permanent life style change. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would learn how to lift weights and to do all the things I am doing now in the gym! I had neither the confidence nor the ability, but Marta has given me both. Thank you so much Marta for making our weekly sessions so much fun and for continually supporting me throughout my journey. I am so honoured to call you a friend and I have so much respect for you and your commitment to your work.
I cannot recommend Marta enough for anyone looking to change their life for the better. I promise you, you won’t look back!

A new job with too many biscuits around and too many beers after work meant I had put on a lot of weight. With my wedding coming up in 3 months, I wanted to get into better shape for my soon-to-be wife but when I joined the gym I realised I had no idea what to do. Speaking to Marta made me understand there was much more to getting into shape than just shedding fat.
Marta made me understand how important your diet is and a week of tracking what you eat really opens your eyes. Marta gave me lots of recommendations for how to improve my meals and get the right nutrition, as well as checking up on me regularly (support I really needed at first as it ain't easy to cut out the biscuits).
Then there's the physical bit. I had expected the gym to be really dull and repetitive but Marta kept changing it up - always trying to find a new way push me. Sessions were tough but I always felt like everything was possible and never felt like I might get injured. It's also a good way to relax around work as you can't think about much else when you're struggling to lift something.
Anyway, I felt much more energetic by the time I got to my wedding and my wife almost didn't recognise me when she saw me for the first time since signing up with Marta. I think she just can't wait until I can afford some more sessions ...
